A 90s minimal edit of tanks, knits, tailored trousers and jeans in black, white and gray. It is for anyone who wants an easy off-duty uniform with clean lines.

The 90s uniform is a short list: a fitted tank, a plain knit, one good pair of jeans or trousers, and nothing that needs explaining. I wear black and white and a little gray, and I let the cut do the work. The Eterne 90's tank is the one I reach for most, and the L'AGENCE Eddie bias tank is a slightly dressier version that sits well under a blazer.

 

Paloma Wool is my pick for knits and trousers that look worn in from day one, and the St Agni layered long sleeve is just the right top to put under a slip or a vest. EAVES makes the halter and the sheer blouse I would wear for dinner. For the bottom half I want a clean line: Joe's Jeans in a bootcut or Pistola's Dakota, with flat shoes and nothing else.
