A little wedge for every dress and pair of jeans, from snake print to gold to black strappy. This is for anyone who wants height without giving up comfort.

I have a soft spot for a wedge because it gives you the height of a heel and the comfort of something you can walk in all day. The trick is picking the shape that suits what you already own.

 

For summer dresses I go for the snake print Paris Texas Nina mule or the gold Jeffrey Campbell Trella, which makes a plain white dress look dressed up. The Schutz Elodie in zebra print is the one I would wear with straight jeans and a tee. When I want something quieter, the Camper Louise and the Seychelles slide in cream go with everything, and RAYE's thong wedges are what I pack for a trip. A black strappy wedge, like the Jeffrey Campbell Leonite, works at dinner when flats feel too casual.
