Berghain leather is dark, a little hard and made for a long night. I start with a leather top, like the NIIHAI lazer top or the AEXAE cowl neck, because they give you shape without trying too hard. Then I go straight to leather trousers, either the I.AM.GIA Xenia with its lace up sides or the NBD Annalise in a clean flare.

 

Boots are where the edge comes in. The Jeffrey Campbell Arsen is a tall, glossy boot that works with a short skirt, and the ALLSAINTS Aastha is a lace up combat boot for walking home. Add a pair of slim sunglasses from BRU Eyewear, a LAMARQUE leather jacket on top, and keep every piece in the dark so the buckles and hardware are the only shine.
