Best Luxury Ski Goggles for Women: Celine, Gucci and Fusalp

Celine, Gucci, Fusalp and more goggles for the mountain

Ski goggles from the few luxury houses that make them: Celine, Fusalp, Goldbergh and Gucci, with plain notes on lens, fit and helmet compatibility.

Luxury Ski Goggles

Very few luxury houses make ski goggles, so this guide is short on purpose. Celine, Fusalp, Goldbergh and Gucci are the names with a genuine fashion point of view. We have included eight pairs, and we have left out anything that does not meet that standard rather than padding the list.

Choosing goggles for your weather

Celine lists anti-scratch and anti-fog lenses. Fusalp's Matterhorn goggles are described as fog-resistant with a mirrored lens in filter category 4, which is a very dark lens. Goldbergh's Headturner is listed as a category 2 gold lens, which is lighter and more suitable for changing light. Gucci's Shield goggles are listed with double-layered Zeiss lenses in category 3, a magnetic lens system and anti-fog ventilation, and the black Gucci pair is listed with a solid smoke lens and full UVA and UVB protection. No listing states a certification, so check the tag before you buy.

Lens colour and darkness matter on snow. A darker lens suits bright, sunny days; a lighter one suits cloud and flat light. Goggles also have to fit with your helmet, so try them together if you can, and check there is no gap at the brow. Prescription and over-the-glasses fit are not covered in these listings, and remain a gap in this guide.

Choose for the weather you ski in most. Make sure the goggles fit your helmet. The Celine pairs are the most fashion-led, the Fusalp pair is the strongest on lens information, the Goldbergh pair is the lightest lens, and the Gucci Shield pair is the most detailed on lens specification.
