Bury me in it

Twenty four everyday pieces I would wear on repeat, from denim shirts and sweatshirts to flats, bags and sunglasses. An edit for anyone who wants a closet of things she reaches for first.

Bury me in it is my shorthand for the pieces I would happily wear until they fall apart. I start with a denim shirt, like the oversized one from Frank & Eileen, and a soft crop sweatshirt from SLVRLAKE that works over a white tee or on its own.

 

The Citizens of Humanity trousers and the Good American bootcut jeans cover most weekdays. Add Dolce Vita suede flats or ALOHAS ballet flats, a Veronica Beard saddle bag and a pair of Jennifer Fisher hoops, and you have an outfit that needs no thinking. Sunglasses do a lot of the work for me, so I keep a few close, from Le Specs and DIFF Eyewear to Ray-Ban aviators.
