Over-the-top women's coats in faux fur, leather and big puffers for the girl who loves to be extra chic and warm. Each one is meant to be the whole outfit.

A big coat is the outfit. I treat it that way and keep what is underneath plain: a black knit, straight jeans, boots. The faux fur coats are where I would start, like the long leopard Marceline from Stand Studio, the cream shaggy Carolina, or the Apparis Gabrielle in a deep sable that sweeps past the knee.

 

If fur is not your thing, leather does the same job. A belted black leather trench and an oversized moto both look better a little beaten up. For something with more play, Cinq à Sept's faux mink jacket with rhinestone bows and the fringed Carolina K coat are the two I would grab for a night out. Pick the one that makes you stand taller when you zip it up.
