A day date edit built around ivory, oatmeal and stone Brochu Walker separates in cashmere, lace and linen-light knits. It is for soft, easy outfits that look put together without trying.

A day date is the kind of plan where I want to look soft and easy, never dressed up for a stage. This edit is all Brochu Walker, in ivory, oatmeal and stone, so every piece works with every other one. I start with the Jules pant in Egret and a cashmere top, either the funnel neck Morten or the wrap neck Siena, and I am done.

 

When it is cool I add the Finley coat in Cashew, and when it is warm the Sabine layered tank with the Talia pant looks calm and clean. The Mara lace skirt is the one dressy piece, and I wear it with a plain knit and flat sandals. Keep the shoes simple and let the colors stay close together.
