Gap Black Friday 2026: What I Dug Up, and What I Could Not Verify

I could not verify US dates for Gap in 2026. The only 2026 announcement I found is from Gap Japan, so treat it as a hint, not a plan.

Gap Japan announced on October 23 that its event runs November 19 to 30, with special prices on hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, T-shirts and denim. Every customer who buys gets a Black Friday Card for 50% off purchases from December 1 to 25. That is a Japan-market offer.

Gap Japan in 2024 ran November 21 to December 2 at 40% off selected items and 50% at Outlet, with a similar 50% card for December. The 2025 event was almost identical, with a December card. I could not verify the US record, so I will not guess at it.

On r/FrugalMaleFashionCDN in November 2024, shoppers said the Canadian sale began at 40% off with some items at 60%, that the code FRIDAY could add 20% to items at 40% off but not the 60% ones, and that a later 50% offer with ADDON was the best. In May 2024 a post on r/BlackFridayRumors forecast early offers up to 40% and Thanksgiving discounts of 50% to 60%. It went up months ahead of the sale, so it is speculation.

I would not rush Gap. In past years the codes stacked later in the sale.
