Hygiene Hero is Michelle Yeh's brand of intimate skincare, and this edit follows it from the oils and serum to the mists, deodorant and private bars. It ends with bikini-line and ingrown hair care from other brands.
Hygiene Hero: Michelle Yeh's Quiet Case for Bikini-Line Care

Hygiene Hero began with a founder who had done a very different job first. Michelle Yeh spent 17 years helping American companies such as Mary Kay Cosmetics and Shaklee Corporation expand internationally, moved back to San Francisco in 2018, and launched the brand in the US in 2020. The first products were hand sanitizer and masks, which tells you something about the timing and something about her practicality.
The intimate care line came next. Private Bars arrived in summer 2021, and the V.V. Oil followed in 2022. I like the order. She started with a bar you can understand by holding it, and only then moved to an oil. Skin in the bikini area is thin, it gets shaved, waxed, rubbed by fabric and ignored, and treating it as ordinary skin that deserves ordinary care is the whole point of view here.
The first grid is the oils and the serum. VV Oil is the core product, an oil made for the bikini line and outer intimate skin. Perfect Pause VV Oil is the version the brand makes for the menopause years, when skin tends to feel drier. Then there is the Daily Nourishment serum, which launched in fall 2023 and which the founder calls the brand's best seller. I would use any of them after a shower, on clean dry skin, with a very small amount.
I am describing these the way the brand does, as skincare. If anything is persistent, itchy or painful, that is a job for a doctor or gynecologist, not for an oil.

Deodorant, mist and the bars
The second grid is where the brand gets practical, and a little less glamorous in the best way. These are the products for the middle of a busy day or the end of a workout, and they are all made for the outside only.
Super Deo is a whole-body deodorant stick, and I am not going to promise what a deodorant cannot promise. I think of it as a neat swipe for the underarm or wherever else you want one. V Fresh & Go Cleansing Mist is rinse-free and soap-free, and the brand calls it a mini-shower, which makes it easy to tuck in a gym bag when a full wash is not possible. Super Mist is the second mist in the set, and I would pick one and see how it feels before getting both. Read the labels, since what is meant for external skin stays on external skin.
Then the bars, which are where the brand began in this category. Perfect Pause Private Bar is the one the brand makes for the menopause years. Calming Triangle Private Bar is the one named for calm, the option to reach for when skin feels fussy. Daily Ritual Oatmeal Private Bar is the everyday one, and oatmeal is a gentle, familiar ingredient to see on a wash.
A private bar is used on the outside, lathered briefly, and rinsed well. Keep it dry between uses on a dish with drainage, since a soggy bar wears down quickly and is no pleasure to pick up.
Bikini line care from other names
Bikini-line skin has one extra problem, which is that hair removal leaves bumps. The third grid is for that, and it comes from other brands, because one shelf rarely does everything. I would read it as a set of options for the days after shaving or waxing.
Fur Oil, from Fur, is made for pubic hair and the skin under it. Luna Daily's Everywhere Oil is labeled for ingrown hairs, redness and bumps and uses rosehip oil with vitamins. Topicals' High Roller is a tonic with AHA and BHA, and First Aid Beauty's Ingrown Hair Pads use AHA and BHA too, in a pad you swipe. Eadem's Smooth Slate serum combines AHAs with azelaic acid and is made for ingrown hairs and dark spots on body and face. Soft Services' Buffing Bar is an exfoliating body bar for KP and ingrown hairs, sold as a pair.
What I would skip: stacking every acid at once. Pick one exfoliating product, use it a couple of nights a week, and keep the oil for the days in between. I would also skip anything acidic on skin that is freshly shaved, broken or sore, and I would skip picking at bumps. Patch test first on your thigh, and give it a day before using it anywhere more sensitive. Rinse or wipe off anything that stings straight away. If a bump is painful, keeps coming back or looks infected, see a doctor.

How I would set up a shelf
If I were setting this up from nothing, I would keep it to three things: a gentle wash or bar, one oil, and one exfoliating step for the days after hair removal. Nothing more. A short shelf is easier to keep up, and it is much easier to tell what is working when only a few things are in play.
Try one new product at a time, on the outer skin only, and give it two weeks before you decide. Choose the lightest scent you can find, or none. Wear breathable fabric, change out of damp gym clothes quickly, and do not use any product to talk over something your body is telling you. Hygiene Hero is at its best as a calm, regular habit, a few minutes after the shower and nothing more dramatic than that. And if anything is itchy, painful or will not go away, please book an appointment with a doctor or gynecologist.
