Soft pants, easy shirts and cardigans for mornings when you are running behind. Pieces that go together without any thinking.

Some mornings you have four minutes and a bag to find. For those, I keep a short list of things that go together without thinking: a soft pant, a top that already looks finished, and something to throw over both. Skims makes a sweater knit straight leg pant that I would wear with the Guest in Residence cashmere cardigan and nothing else.

 

When I want to look a little more put together, I reach for a crisp white shirt, like the Tibi oversized one, and wear it open over a tee with Z Supply joggers. A striped Madewell shirt tucked halfway into Sporty & Rich cashmere trousers looks planned even when it was not. Finish with UGG slippers or clogs by the door and you are out in a minute.
