Leslie Amon is the Paris-designed swim and resort label founded by Leslie Cohen Amon in 2017, with Swiss-Egyptian roots and a very glamorous beach-to-dinner mood. I like how seriously it takes swim, so I followed that thinking into the dresses and layers.

Leslie Amon Dresses: From Beach to Evening
The designer behind the swimwear
I have always liked a founder whose business starts with a complaint, and Leslie Amon's was that the swimwear she wanted did not exist. So she designed it herself, and the namesake line keeps the water in view even as it drifts toward dinner and resort dressing.
She grew up in Geneva, studied at Central Saint Martins in London and began with six pieces named for friends, then refined them from their feedback. The brand's own story covers the rest, including the custom French-made fabric and the four-way stretch jacquard patterns she develops, and the six months she spends testing swim before each collection.
I like how practical that origin is. Those decisions ground the glossy colors and the all-night mood in one real question, which is whether a piece moves with its wearer and not just photographs well.

Dresses from beach hours to dinner
The dresses make the beach-to-evening instinct easy to read. The Dream Evil Eye Mini Dress leads with a playful motif, while the Galli Mini Dress and the Slip Dress cover two moods, a short invitation piece and a pared-back one for dinner. I would keep accessories simple around the print and let the silhouette talk. I went deeper on a related idea in Black Dresses: Mesh Sleeves, Sequins, Tanks and Evening Gowns.
Picture her leaving a warm beach afternoon for a terrace dinner in the Slip Dress, flat sandals first and a small heel tucked in her bag for later. What I would skip is asking the Mermaid Skin Mini Dress Bridal to stand in for a formal gown without checking the dress code. And for any close-fitting mini, I would read the size notes first, since this label began in swim, where a secure fit matters.

Swimwear with a little travel in it
Swim is the source of the label's point of view, so fit comes before novelty here. The Maya Bikini Top and Maya Bikini Bottom are a straightforward matching pair, and the Watermelon Slice Triangle Bikini Top gives a second print a clear job in the suitcase. The Sarong is the easy bridge to a beachside lunch or a walk through town.
I would add a neutral bottom to the printed tops before packing a second full set. Picture her with the Sarong knotted over a bikini for the walk back from the water, then pulled off at the pool. Choose what feels right wet and dry, not only what catches your eye.

Crochet layers and the pieces around them
Outside swim, the edit stays close to the beach. The Ruby Crochet Shirt and the Ruby Crochet Short are a natural warm-weather pair, while the Satin Top and the Noelle Skirt Orange let the separates work in a city. I like that one crochet piece can go from a bikini layer to dinner without turning into a costume, and the Cabochon Mini Skirt is another compact bottom for it.
Picture her pulling the Ruby Crochet Shirt over a swimsuit for a late lunch, then wearing it with the skirt for a sunset reservation. I would skip buying every piece as a matching set, and keep one quiet basic in the suitcase so the textures have room to breathe.

A swim label with room to roam
What I keep coming back to is the clear center of gravity: swimwear made with a designer's eye for shape, material and a little theatricality. The dresses, crochet layers and bright pieces make sense because they return to it.
I would begin with one bikini that fits securely, then let a single wrap or dress carry the look through the day. That feels closer to Amon's original idea than a different outfit for every hour. Although I would still pack the Ari Halter Maxi Dress just in case.
