Stripes, checks and gingham are the quickest way I know to make a simple outfit feel playful. I like wearing them as a matching set, a top and shorts cut from the same print, because it looks planned without any effort.

 

Posse's pink gingham top and shorts are the sweetest version, and the KNWLS bustier and skirt in a muted check feel a little cooler. For shorts on their own, XIRENA's red gingham pair, the Mimi from Solid & Striped and the brown check from SEROYA all go with a plain white tee.
