Satin tops, sequins, slip dresses and a glossy puffer with a slick finish. For anyone who wants outfits that catch the light without trying hard.

Shine is the quickest way I know to make a simple outfit look finished. I keep the shapes easy and let the fabric do the talking, so a satin camisole, a sequin tank or a metallic halter goes with plain jeans and nothing else.

 

The Reformation Lisa in sequins is the one I would wear to dinner with a pair of black trousers, and the Edikted shiny tanks are what I reach for on an ordinary Tuesday. For longer lengths the English Factory satin midi is a clean option, and the SIMKHAI Monica is the one for a bigger night. If you want the shine to feel casual, add the Splits59 puffer on top, since a glossy jacket over soft satin looks great together. Check pieces in daylight too, because the best shine is quiet.
