Lunch Plans

A lunch edit of tweed minis, linen midis, denim dresses and light layers. It is for relaxed midday plans that still feel put together.

Lunch is the one plan where I want to look put together without looking like I tried. I reach for a dress I can walk in, in a fabric that holds its shape through a long table. A light tweed is my favorite, like the endless rose square neck mini or the Marc Jacobs tweed with its belt. Both look right with flat sandals and a small bag.

 

If I want something softer, the Brochu Walker Antibes dress or the REISS linen midi do the work with no fuss. On cooler days I throw the Brochu Walker Parker jacket over anything, or zip into the Guest in Residence felted jacket. For a denim day, Free People's Marris dress needs nothing more than a gold hoop and loafers.
