Milkwhite is an Athens label, designed and produced in Greece, that makes jackets, skirts and dresses with a lot of personality. I like clothes that are happy to be the whole outfit.

Milkwhite Jackets & Skirts: Sizing, Fit and Best Buys
An Athens label that likes personality
I tend to be drawn to labels that are slightly too much, and Milkwhite is a good example. It launched in Athens in 2015 under creative director Dimitris Bairabas, and its collections are designed in Athens and produced in Greece. The philosophy is pieces with character and a point of view, shifting between workday and evening rather than asking the wearer to shrink into a trend.
The range covers tailored jackets, mini skirts, dresses, knitwear and shorts, and the connective thread is an appetite for print, surface and a little theatricality. I read that as permission to make a jacket or skirt the whole story instead of keeping every outfit neutral. I went deeper on a related idea in Everyday Essentials: Coats, Knit Skirts and Cropped Jackets.
This edit leans into that tension: tailored outerwear next to faux fur, short skirts next to fluid dresses, and satin or knit pieces that change the temperature of an outfit.

Outerwear with a playful edge
Outerwear is where Milkwhite's appetite for fun gets most obvious. The Fitted Blazer With Faux Fur Detail mixes tailoring with a trim of faux fur, and the Tweed Jacket keeps a familiar collar and button front in lightweight tweed. The Satin Button Up Blazer is the smoother one. The Faux Fur Coat With Faux Pearls is the pick for a colder evening when I want texture to lead, and the Cape falls loosely over a simple base.
I would wear the blazer over a smooth knit or slip dress to give the trim room, and save the coat for after-dark plans rather than the busiest commute. What I would skip is mixing faux fur and tweed without checking the care instructions for each.

Short skirts with texture and shape
The skirts here are not one mood. The Mini Skort gives the short silhouette a hidden pair of shorts, and the Faux Fur Mini Skort adds plush texture. The Brocade Mini Skirt is floral and sweet, a good match for a simple top and a sleek shoe, and the Mini Skirt in brown leans into a straight faux-leather shape.
I would keep the top half plain when the bottom already has texture, especially with the fur or the brocade flower. In my fashion dreams, she slips out for dinner in the brocade mini, held together by a simple shirt and one sculptural earring. Sit down in a short hem before you commit, since it feels different at a desk, on stairs and through a long meal.

Dresses, knits and shorts with a little drama
This mixed set has the strongest day-to-night range. The Midi V-neck Dress With Flower Detail has a light chambray feel and a flower at the shoulder, the Floral Strapless Midi Dress pairs a print with a bit of drama, and the Mini Dress is the closer, more fitted shape. The Feather Cardigan and Short Sleeve Sweater are the lightweight knits, and the Horizontal Short and Satin Hot Short break up the dress-first mood.
This is where I would start if I wanted an outfit with a focal point rather than a matching set. Keep the extra layers simple so the floral detail or the satin does not have to compete. These pieces run from evening dresses to casual shorts, so I would read the care label on each one.

Clothes that make room for personality
Milkwhite's best quality is its willingness to play. A fitted blazer can have faux-fur trim, a small skirt can have a brocade flower, and a lightweight dress can carry a detail that makes you look twice. The Greek production and Athens design give its point of view a clear home, while the clothes travel between everyday wear and a plan that starts after work. I would choose the piece that already has the print or texture I love, then build a quieter outfit around it. That feels truer to Bairabas's idea of dressing with character than buying a full look just because it came styled together. Although I would probably end up buying the faux fur anyway.
