Twelve micro minis in denim, pleats and ra-ra shapes at true 2000s length. For anyone who wants a short skirt that sits low and keeps everything else easy.

The micro mini is back at true 2000s length, and I think it works best when the rest of the outfit stays easy. I pull on a low-slung denim skirt like the Edikted Keira with the buckled belt, or the BLANKNYC low rise in pale wash, and add a plain white tank and boots. It is the same formula every time and it never gets old.

 

For something softer I reach for a pleated mini, such as the Motel Rocks Akara in ivory chiffon or the Adidas Golf Originals skort in maroon with white sneakers. When I want a little more polish, the Isabel Marant Ralma and the PAIGE Janelle both sit nicely on the hip. Keep the top simple and let the skirt be the whole point.
