Night Textures

Night Textures

After-dark tops in lace, satin and sequins, picked for texture and subtle contrast. Made for dinners, bars and late plans.

Night dressing is mostly about what the fabric does under low light. Satin catches a glint, lace adds a little contrast against skin, and sequins do the rest. I like to keep the bottom half plain, dark jeans or leather, and let the top carry the evening.

The halter from AQUA in black is the one I would reach for first, and Cynthia Rowley's paillette cami is for nights when you want some shine without a whole dress. Reformation's silk tops and the CAMI NYC lace camisoles look best with a blazer thrown over them, then off by the second drink. STAUD's feathered top and Bardot's satin high neck are my picks when the plan is dinner and then somewhere louder.
