Cozy knits, plain tees and dark denim for evenings that turn into long walks. This edit is for anyone who wants comfort that still looks put together.

Some of my best evenings were never planned. A friend texts, the light is good, and suddenly you are walking for an hour. I dress for that with soft layers and dark denim, nothing precious. A cashmere crew from Brochu Walker is my starting point, and in cooler weather I add the Jenni Kayne camel coat over it.

 

For the bottom half I like the Pistola Dakota bootcut or the LE JEAN barrel jeans in a washed black, both of which look styled with a plain tee. Z Supply joggers are what I pick when the walk turns into a long one. The Good American oversized tee and the Reformation boat neck top fill in the gaps, and a Lisa Yang sweater is the one I save for when the air gets properly cold.
