Nordstrom Black Friday 2026: What I Dug Up on the Sale Everyone Starts Early

Nordstrom is the one retailer on my list that has already told us the date. Its official page says Friday, November 27, 2026, in stores and online, across clothing, shoes and accessories. That is where the news ends. I could not find a discount depth or a code for this year, so I went back through what it did before.

In 2024 the sale ran November 21 to 29, with Cyber Monday deals through December 3. Nordstrom said more than 100 brands were new to the event, and by the Friday coverage was counting over 42,000 items at up to 60% off. There was no sitewide code. These were item-by-item markdowns, like a Barbour jacket dropping from $430 to $284.99.

In 2025 it did the same thing, a little earlier. The sale opened November 19 with up to 60% off, and the Cyber Monday event started that Friday night and ran to December 2, with some markdowns reported as high as 76%.

Two years, one shape: a long runway, a 60% ceiling, and never a single code you can wave at the whole site.

Last November a shopper on r/Nordstrom1901 asked whether an extra discount was coming. The replies were cautious. Full-line Nordstrom is not a sitewide-promotion kind of store the way Nordstrom Rack is, so buy what you want before it sells out. One person suggested rebuying and returning if the price drops again. I would treat that as a shopper trick, not policy, and read the return terms first.

Both years, the sale started about a week before Black Friday, so I would watch from around November 19. The smaller brands go first. Anything I would be sad to lose goes in the bag early, and anything I am on the fence about gets saved and left alone.

Save what you are eyeing in Phia and it will ping you when the price drops, so you are not refreshing a sale page on Thanksgiving.
