Quick Meeting

A quick meeting edit of blazers, cardigans, knits and black trousers with just enough structure. It is for workdays that need to look intentional without feeling formal.

For a quick meeting I want to look sharp in about five minutes. My formula is one piece with structure and everything else easy. A blazer does that best, and I like the Favorite Daughter Madison Avenue in black with jeans and a white shirt underneath. If you want something with a bit of pattern, Good American's double breasted blazer in plaid is the one I would try.

 

On days when a blazer feels like too much, I go for a cardigan with pearl-trim details, like the English Factory one, over a plain tee. Dark trousers do the rest. The La Ligne skinny trousers and the Lisa Yang Ainsley pants both look good with loafers. Add the Lisa Yang grey cashmere sweater when the room is cold.
