Skater Boy
Skater style is mostly about pants that are too big on purpose. I start with a baggy pair, like the Citizens of Humanity Hayden jeans or Our Legacy's Third Cut, and let the top half stay simple. A Dickies work shirt or a plain white Lacoste tee does the job, and a black Rhythm fleece crew goes over both when it gets cold.
Cargos are the other half of it. Levi's Extra Baggy in green and the Carhartt WIP Kade pair both sit loose over the shoe, which is exactly where a Vans Authentic or an adidas Samba wants them to land. For something darker, Nicholas Daley's carpenter jeans and Y-3 cargos look good with a big sweatshirt. Keep the shoes beat up a little and you are done.
