Snake print is the easiest way I know to make a plain outfit feel a little sharper. The trick is to let one piece carry it and keep everything else quiet. A Nili Lotan snake-print blouse with straight black trousers is enough, and so is a Miaou python skirt with a simple tee.

 

I like the softer, sand and cream snakes best, like the Line & Dot python jacket and FRAME's snake cardigan, because they sit next to denim without fighting it. If you want more bite, try the Citizens of Humanity barrel-leg jeans with a white shirt, or a Cara Cara dress with flat boots. Ramy Brook's turtleneck works under a leather jacket when the weather turns.
