Statement Minimal

Statement Minimal

Minimal foundations with one defining detail, from draped tops to clean midi skirts. Made for women who want simple pieces that still stand out.

Minimal does not have to mean boring. My rule is one plain foundation and one defining detail, whether that is a drape, a cut or a single bit of lace. Grace Ling's Claw top is the clearest version of it, a quiet grey knit that twists at the waist and needs nothing else. Helsa's layered shirt and the SIMKHAI Scarlett cape top do the same thing with fabric that moves.

For the bottom half I keep the shape big and the color calm. A STAUD pleated skirt in brown or a Suzie Kondi circle skirt in navy goes with every top here, and Madelynne's Grove skirt in wine adds color without any print. I wear them with a sharp black shirt like the one from Tuckernuck and flat shoes, and I let the one detail do the talking.
