Street Debut

Lace midis and slim pencil skirts styled for the city instead of the dinner table. For anyone who wants editorial shapes that still feel easy on a regular day.

Lace feels fancy until you wear it on the sidewalk, and then it starts to feel a lot more fun. That is the idea here: take the pieces that usually belong at a dinner and put them on a normal Tuesday. A black lace midi like Mother of All's Annie is a good place to start, because it looks great with a plain tee and flat sandals.

Pencil skirts get the same treatment. The LE BOP Roxy in black is long, slim and sharp, and I would pair it with a loose knit and boots. For a softer take, VRG GRL's Devyn in white lace is lovely over a tank, and the THE GREAT. Relic saddle skirt in cream looks even better with cowboy boots.

If you want more contrast, Cinq à Sept's Esme has lace running down the side of a black skirt, and a.ren's Celeste has a lace hem that peeks out under a long coat.
