Supergoop sunscreens for your face, then the powders, sticks, body formulas and lip balm that make reapplying easy.
Supergoop, From Unseen Sunscreen to the Lip Balm

SPF You Will Actually Wear
In 2004, a Texas schoolteacher named Holly Thaggard watched a close friend, barely thirty, get a skin cancer diagnosis. She started reading everything she could about sun protection and came away with a simple, slightly maddening conclusion: the main reason people skip sunscreen is that it does not feel good on the skin. Her first plan was not a beauty brand at all. She wanted to get sunscreen into schools. In 2007, in San Antonio, she founded Supergoop, and the brand has spent the years since trying to make SPF something you would wear even if nobody made you.
That is the whole point, and it is why I like the line. The best sunscreen is not the one with the most impressive number. It is the one you will actually put on every single morning, including in October, including when it is cloudy, including when you are only walking to the car.
Unseen Sunscreen, the clear gel, is the one I would start with. It goes on invisibly, has no scent and works as a primer under makeup, so there is no reason not to wear it.
The first grid is face sunscreen, from invisible to glowy to matte and moisturizing. The second is everything that makes reapplying easy, plus body and lips.
Here is a test I like: put your sunscreen on first thing, before coffee, for two weeks straight. If you never once skip it, you have found your formula.
Face
The way to choose a face sunscreen is by the finish you want, because that is what decides whether you will wear it tomorrow.
If you want sunscreen that looks invisible, Unseen is the one: a clear, weightless, scentless gel with SPF 50 that works as a primer, so makeup sits better on top. Every. Single. Face. is the watery lotion, also SPF 50, with a cool feel on skin, and it is the one I would hand to someone who hates the feel of sunscreen.
If you want glow, Glowscreen SPF 40 is a tinted, dewy sunscreen with hyaluronic acid that primes for makeup with a radiant finish. The Glowscreen Soft-Radiance Drops are the mineral version, tinted drops that bring out skin's natural radiance. The Sunlighter stick, SPF 45, is a pearly highlighter that happens to be sunscreen. Swipe it along the cheekbones.
If you run oily, 100% Mineral Mattescreen is a tinted, mattifying SPF 40 that smooths the look of skin and primes for makeup.
And if your skin is dry, let the sunscreen be your moisturizer. Superscreen is a rich, hydrating cream with ectoin and ceramide, and Triple Prep is the weightless version, a moisturizer with SPF 40, ectoin and hyaluronic acid that supports the skin barrier.
Here is a tip: use about two finger-lengths for your face and neck. Most people use half that, and the number on the bottle assumes the full amount.
What I would skip: counting on the SPF in your foundation alone. Nobody wears enough foundation for it to count.

Reapply, Body and Lips
Reapplying is where most people give up, usually because the only option they know is smearing more lotion over makeup in the middle of the afternoon. Supergoop's answer is a set of formats that let you reapply without starting over.
For faces with makeup, the 100% Mineral (Re)setting Powder is SPF 35 with a built-in brush, a mineral powder that sets makeup and takes down shine while it protects. The Unseen Sunscreen Stick, SPF 40, is invisible and glides right over makeup, also cutting shine. The Glow Stick, SPF 50, is the opposite: it leaves a glowy finish and doubles as a highlighter on the face and body.
Then the places people forget. Glow Gloss protects lips with SPF 40, a balm with peptides and shea butter, high-shine and non-sticky, with no sunscreen taste. The 100% Mineral Bright-Eyed Eye Cream is a zinc oxide SPF 40 for under the eyes, with caffeine to brighten, and it matters because that skin is thin and so often skipped.
For the body, PLAY Everyday Lotion is SPF 50 for face and body, water- and sweat-resistant, with sunflower, rosemary and rice antioxidants. The PLAY Body Mist is a non-aerosol, water-resistant spray that works on wet or dry skin, which makes it the one for the beach bag. Glow Oil is SPF 50 in a non-greasy body oil with argan oil, and it leaves a sheen that looks good with a sundress.
Here is a routine I like: Unseen in the morning, the powder or the stick at lunch, Glow Gloss whenever you think of it.
What I would skip: spraying the body mist on a windy day. Spray close and rub it in.

The Rule
I think Supergoop has done more than most brands to make daily sunscreen feel normal, and it did it the only way that works: by making formulas pleasant enough that wearing them is not a chore.
The rule is the same whichever bottle you choose. Wear it every day, all year, and reapply every couple of hours when you are outside. Pick the finish you like, keep one reapply option in your bag and stop thinking about it. The best sunscreen really is the one you will actually use.
