The Suede Edit

An edit of suede jackets, coats, bags and a few dresses in brown, tan and olive. Made for adding a little texture to everyday outfits.

Suede is the easiest way I know to add texture to a plain outfit. It softens jeans and a white tee, and it looks richer than leather in brown, tan and olive. My favorite way in is a jacket: the L'AGENCE Ishani belted jacket in olive, the EAVES Aroa blazer in pale sage, or a cropped brown one from Free People that works over everything.

 

If you want a longer shape, the Avec Les Filles trench and Ducie's Corrin coat both belt at the waist and look great over denim. Smaller pieces count too. Polo Ralph Lauren's shoulder bag and the Nakedvice Renee hobo carry the same warm color, and a Tularosa suede dress or Bailey skirt works for nights out. Keep the rest of the outfit simple and let the suede do the talking.
