The Vintage Edit
I love a vintage find because nobody else will be wearing it. My rule is to start with one archive piece and keep everything around it quiet. A Vivienne Westwood dress or a Dolce & Gabbana hummingbird print dress can carry a whole outfit on its own, so I add plain flats like the Valentino One Stud pair and leave it there.
For the days I want to dress down, I reach for a Christian Dior navy blazer or the Saint Laurent plaid blazer over a white tee and jeans. The Moschino color-block jacket is the loud one, so I keep the rest black. A Prada shoulder bag or a Courrèges top handle bag finishes things, and a Gucci Horsebit mule is the pair I would wear with all of it.
