Tonal Moment

Tonal Moment

Soft butter yellow worn head to toe, in knits, slips, skirts and shorts. For anyone who wants one easy color story that still feels fresh.

Butter yellow is the softest way to wear color this season, and it looks best when you commit to it from head to toe. I like to stay in one family and let the textures do the talking: a chunky Alex Mill cardigan over a pale slip, or a Lioness Rhode mini dress with nothing else but flat sandals.

Knits are where this shade really works. The Sablyn cropped cardigan and the Another Tomorrow draped sweater both read creamy rather than loud, and a With Jéan rib top does the same with a matching skirt. For a longer line I would go with the Lioness Ford maxi or the Aje Pandorea. Finish with a cream tote and a small yellow necklace so the whole look hangs together.
