Neck scarves tied, draped or knotted, from silk squares to knit triangles. A small accessory that changes a whole outfit.

Trend Alert: Neck Scarves
The neck scarf is back and I am happy about it. It is the smallest change you can make to an outfit and it works on everything: a crisp white shirt, a denim jacket, a plain knit. I fold a square silk into a triangle, tie it at the side and leave the ends loose.
For spring I like the Longchamp Foret and the A.L.C. Albers print, which add a bit of color near the face. When it gets cold, switch to a knit triangle like Hat Attack's wool one, the Madewell Jaine bandana or Polo Ralph Lauren's cable version, which sits over a coat like a collar. Acne Studios and Burberry bring in the check, and Pucci's skinny twill is the one to tie to a bag handle or around a ponytail.
