We Norwegians Knitwear and Outerwear

Tove Grane and Øyvind Lauritzen founded We Norwegians in 2013 and launched it in October 2014 from Voss, Norway, pairing her fashion background with his ski industry experience. The label is built on merino wool and traditional Norwegian knitting, with the Setesdal pattern appearing in every collection since the start. This edit moves from ski-ready outerwear to the knits and wool trousers that make the brand's point of view.

Outerwear

Grane studied at Esmod Oslo, worked in Norwegian fashion and then ended up in Voss, a ski town, which is exactly where you want to learn about warmth. The ski suits, houndstooth jackets and faux fur here pair Lauritzen's technical background with her eye.

Trousers and knits

The Setesdal pattern is the brand's signature, a traditional Norwegian design Grane worked her logo into. These cardigans, pullovers and wool pants carry that heritage without looking like costume.

Ski jackets and knits

Quilted shell ski jackets, flared ski pants and Fair Isle merino knits show the ski-town side of the brand. Pair a Telemark knit with the pants and you are set for the mountain or the city.

Why merino
