In 1917 the British hairdresser George Westmore set up the first hair and makeup department for films in Hollywood, and six of his children went on to become movie makeup artists, with a family star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. McKenzie Westmore, his great-great-granddaughter, an actress who hosted Syfy's Face Off, started Westmore Beauty to continue that legacy, and the Westmore Beauty Body Coverage Perfector is its best seller. It is a body camouflage and illuminator built on treated pigments and crushed pearls in a flexible gel, and she says it nods to her family painting stockings on women's legs during World War II, when real ones were scarce. Applying it evenly
Moisturize first and let it sink in. Apply with your hands or a body brush in thin layers, blending outward. Let each layer set before the next. Remove at night with a cleansing oil and a washcloth.
