Where Is Wavytalk Located: The Shenzhen Hair Tool Brand

Wavytalk is located in Shenzhen, and the hair tool brand grew from Amazon to TikTok Shop, Target and Ulta. I go through its thermal brushes, straighteners, dryers and hot air brushes.

Wavytalk launched in 2021 as an Amazon-exclusive brand from Shenzhen, run by a founder and CEO who goes by Hugh. It joined TikTok Shop in August 2023 as one of the first beauty brands there, and within a year that channel was as big for it as Amazon. The thermal brush was the hero product it spent its first two years refining, so it is the right place to start. The celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons became its first ambassador in 2024 alongside a professional Pro collection, and the brand launched at Target in November 2025 and on Ulta.com in February 2026. The Blowout Boost, the Heatwave Pro, the Steamlift Pro and the detachable 1.5 inch brush all give a smooth, bent-ends finish on dry hair, the easiest way to get a blowout look without juggling a round brush and a dryer. The 1.5 inch barrel suits shoulder-length hair and longer. Always start with heat protectant, on fully dry hair, every single time.

Straighteners, a curler and a crimper

The Steam Sesh is a steam straightener, and the Steamline Pro is a straightening brush for a softer, fuller result. The Multi Curl is a 5-in-1 wand with interchangeable barrels, and the Power Wave crimping iron is for texture, a nod to the crimped styles that are back. These are the tools I would use for a change of look, not every day. Keep them on the lowest setting that works for your hair, especially if it is fine or colored. Let each section cool before you touch it, since that sets the shape for the day.

Dryers and air brushes, and the skip

The Blown Away is an ionic dryer and the Turblow Pro is the Pro-line dryer, while the Air Sculpt 5-in-1 and the Jet Brush dry and style in one step. What I would skip is taking a thermal brush or iron to damp hair. Dry fully first with a dryer or air brush, since heat on wet hair can cause damage. If your hair is long and thick, an air brush on damp hair saves time, then finish with the thermal brush for polish. Clean the bristles and dryer filters every few weeks so they keep working well.

Styling with less damage

Section hair and work in small pieces. Keep heat around 300 to 350 degrees for fine hair and a little higher for coarse, and do not pass over one section again and again. Give hair heat-free days each week. Unplug and cool tools before storing them, and trim ends regularly. Healthy hair holds a style longer than damaged hair.
