Colorblocked windbreakers and track jackets layered over slip dresses and wide leg trousers. For anyone who wants a city uniform that runs between sporty and soft.

A windbreaker is the fastest way I know to change the whole mood of an outfit. I like the colorblocked ones best, like the red and white Lioness Essential or the navy and olive VRG GRL Darcy, thrown over a slip dress so the nylon and the satin argue a little.

 

The Another Girl lace trim maxi and the L'AGENCE Seridie both look great with a sporty zip jacket and flat sneakers. When I want trousers instead, I wear the Leset Barb in chartreuse or the LE BOP Aliza in navy under a Splits59 track jacket. The Polo Ralph Lauren linen windbreaker is the softer option for days that stay mild, and a trench from The Frankie Shop covers the rainy ones.
