Zara vs Runway

Zara vs Runway

Zara skirts, tops and accessories that echo the shapes on the runway, from asymmetric hems to ruffles and fringe. For anyone who wants the designer silhouette in everyday clothes.

The runway keeps sending the same few shapes down the catwalk: skirts that dip lower on one side, ruffles that move when you walk, fringe that catches the light. Zara is where I go to try those shapes without waiting a season. The asymmetric checked midi skirt and the asymmetric denim skirt are the two I would start with, because both look sharp with a plain knit and flat boots.

If you want more drama, the tiered ruffled midi in black does the most work with the least styling, and the combined asymmetric knit skirt is softer for daytime. The ZW Collection ruffled skirt in blue is a good one to wear with a simple tee.

For the top half I keep it quiet, like the double effect tee or the extra soft wool jumper. Add the silk printed scarf at the neck or the fringe scarf belt at the waist, and you have borrowed the runway idea without copying the whole look.
