Adina Reyter Jewelry and Fine Jewelry

Adina Reyter grew up in Los Angeles in a family knitwear business and, after a stint in advertising, started her jewelry line from her apartment in 2001 around a single piece, the Circle Necklace. A hammered circle pendant worn by Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green on Friends changed everything for the brand, and her Groovy pendant later became another signature. This edit gathers her 14k gold chains, charm necklaces, diamond studs and stacking rings, the kind of everyday fine jewelry you never take off.

The necklaces she built a brand on

I love that Adina Reyter's first retailer was a nail salon in Beverly Hills. It tells you everything about the jewelry: small, personal, meant to be worn every day and noticed up close. The brand still starts from necklaces. Pavé beads on Italian chains, horseshoe and initial charms, pearl drops and the Groovy pendant that JCK calls one of her earliest creations all sit here in solid 14k gold. Layer two of different lengths and you have the whole Los Angeles mood in one move. What I would skip is stacking five at once; these look best with a little skin around them.

Studs, cuffs, rings and chains

The second grid is the supporting cast. Pavé studs and a large pavé ear cuff, a horseshoe signet, a sculpted Groovy ring and heavier link chains and bracelets that hold their own on a bare wrist. The brand mixes natural, conflict free diamonds with clearly labeled lab grown stones, so read the details on each piece if that matters to you. My test is simple: if a ring still feels right after a week of typing, washing your hands and pulling on sweaters, it was the right ring.

How I would wear it

Start with one necklace you will wear daily, then add a stud or a ring once you know your metal. Adina Reyter has been making quietly personal jewelry for more than two decades, and it works best when it looks like it has been on you for years.
