Cargo pants have stopped being a joke and started being the pair I reach for most. The trick is to let the pockets do the talking and keep everything else quiet, a plain white tank, a fitted tee, a clean sneaker or a pointed flat.

 

For the easiest version I like Free People's Reef curved cargo in navy, which gives you a little barrel shape without feeling bulky.
