DIFF is the Los Angeles eyewear label that grew from festival glasses into bold, designer-inspired frames. I like it because the shapes have real personality and the brand gives back to children's eye care.

DIFF EYEWEAR Sunglasses: Where to Start
Good frames, generous intent
I trust a brand more when its origin story is a little silly, and DIFF's is. Three founders met while selling prismatic glasses to festival crowds, and in 2014 they started a Los Angeles label to make designer-inspired frames feel easy to reach for. Chad Dime had learned the mechanics of production from his father's eyewear import business, and his co-founders brought the marketing and the digital side.
What I like most is that it was never only about the frames. From the first launch, the brand paired its handmade acetate shades with giving, donating reading glasses, and the giving page now describes its work with Vision to Learn, which brings eye exams and glasses to children through school-based mobile clinics.
So my advice is simple. Choose a strong silhouette you will actually wear often, and let it carry a little generosity along.

Let the shape lead
That festival energy still shows up in a lineup built around shape. The Tosca III Sunglasses take the oversized aviator route, the Joey Sunglasses keep a round black-and-gold metal outline, and the Morgan Sunglasses bring a ruby-red lens mood. For something sharper, the X Rachael Kirkconnell Metal Rectangle Sunglasses sit well beside a crisp collar, and the X For Love & Lemons Acetate Aviator Sunglasses lean into a bolder frame.
I like choosing one anchor detail and letting the rest of the outfit breathe. With a wide frame, keep the earrings small, and let a warm lens echo brown leather or gold hardware. In my fashion dreams it is the last bright hour on a city street, a white shirt, hair still warm from the sun, and the sunglasses doing just enough. What I would skip is a wide frame with big earrings and a loud scarf.

A pair with a point
DIFF's best idea is that style and purpose do not have to take turns. It began with designer-inspired sunglasses and reading glasses given away, and today school eye care is part of the story too.
That makes me reach for frames with presence that still feel like me on an ordinary Tuesday, maybe the Cameron Sunglasses or the X Jojo Fletcher Cat Eye Sunglasses. Start with a color you already wear, think about where the brow line sits, and try the shape with your own earrings, your coat, or a bare face. I want sunglasses to be a small bit of personality and a reminder that seeing clearly belongs to everyone. Although I will admit the cat eye is the one I keep going back to.
