Feners is a Barcelona label started in 2017 by two friends, Carla and Adri, with no fashion training and a lot of curiosity. I love its printed tops and skirts, and this is where I would begin.

Feners Tops and Skirts: Where to Begin
The friends behind Feners
I always trust a label more when the founders admit they had no idea what they were doing. Feners began in 2017 as a project between two friends from towns near Barcelona. Carla, one of the two, has said they started with no fashion training or industry contacts, only a wish to approach clothing differently. The clothes feel like that to me: curiosity first, trend forecast never.
On its About page, Feners calls itself a creative project shaped by photography, design, fashion and art. There is a Mediterranean frame of mind to it all, but the work underneath matters too, from attention to construction to the artisans who make the pieces between Spain and Portugal. The label started with footwear, added clothing and accessories in 2023, and stepped into ready-to-wear with Spring/Summer 2024.
It is female-owned and independent, with shoes handmade in Spain. The tops and skirts still carry that founding instinct: look closely at how a thing is made, and at the character it gives the woman wearing it.

Color-forward tops, styled simply
Feners tops are where I start when I want the print to set the mood. The Festa Top Day and Festa Top Marbre share a name but move between warm brown multi and pale blue multi, so let one lead and keep everything else quiet. The Yo x Ti Top is the more graphic counterpoint, and the Besos Top and Besos Night Top are a darker way in. The Gustito Top, Delirio Top and Cierre Top round things out, from softer to more pared back. I went deeper on a related idea in All My Love Tops and Pants: Where to Start. I went deeper on a related idea in BEACH RIOT Swimwear & Tops: Where to Start.
Picture her at a long lunch in the Yo x Ti Top with relaxed denim and flat sandals, color at the center. With a vivid print, choose a solid bottom first. What I would skip is a second busy print until you know you like the combination.

Skirts that carry the whole look
The skirts are where Feners hands the talking to color. The Festa Skirt Day, Festa Skirt Marbre and Festa Skirt Night read like siblings, moving from brown multi to light blue and blue multi. The Tu X Mi Skirt is the clean black option when I want the outfit to feel simpler, and the Delirio Skirt and Suave Skirt are two more ways to change the mood.
Picture her walking to dinner in the Tu X Mi Skirt with a plain fitted top and small earrings, then choosing a Festa version for a sunny weekend when a coordinated look feels right. Start with the print you love most and let it set the palette. I would not force a matching set if the colors do not feel like you.

Mediterranean spirit, made personal
Feners has a Spanish summer in its head, but these pieces are not souvenirs. The label began with Carla and Adri's curiosity about making, and playful color plus attention to construction gives the clothes a point of view of their own. The shared Festa names are a handy cue for a coordinated look, while the darker Besos and black Tu X Mi pieces mix easily with whatever is already in your closet. I would start with one item you can imagine wearing in several settings. Although the print will probably keep calling.
