Good girl perfume has been a stiletto-shaped bottle full of tonka, cacao and jasmine since 2016. This edit covers the full Carolina Herrera family, the white florals with a darker side, and the tonka and cocoa scents I wear when the night runs late.
Good Girl Perfume and the Stiletto Bottle That Made Bad Manners Smell Sweet

I remember the first time I saw the bottle in a shop, a black stiletto sitting on a glass shelf, and thought it looked like a joke about perfume. Then I smelled it, and the joke was on me. Good girl perfume launched in 2016, created by perfumers Louise Turner and Quentin Bisch, and it opens on almond, coffee, bergamot and lemon before tuberose, jasmine sambac and orange blossom arrive in the middle. The base is where it gets interesting: tonka bean, cacao, vanilla, sandalwood and more. Sweet and a little bit dangerous, which is the whole idea.
Carolina Herrera Good Girl is now the brand's most successful fragrance to date, with model Karlie Kloss as the face of the campaigns. The designer herself showed her first collection at New York's Metropolitan Club in 1981, encouraged by Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, and that sense of theater carries over into the bottle.
The original Good Girl Eau de Parfum is the one to know first. Good Girl Blush and the Blush Elixir turn it softer and pinker, with a rosier feel that suits daytime better. Very Good Girl is the polite rebellion, lighter to my nose, while Good Girl Jasmine Absolute pushes the floral heart forward. The Crystal Collector bottle is the same idea in a more decorative shell, and I would buy it if you like a bottle to sit out on the dresser.
Try one spray behind each ear and one on the wrist, then wait an hour for the cacao to show up.

White florals with a shadow
Good Girl is a white floral wearing a dark coat, and if that mix appeals, there are plenty of bottles with the same split personality. I like to test them side by side, because the difference is in the base, not the flowers.
Viktor&Rolf's Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum with Vanilla and Jasmine is the loud, fluffy cousin, big and sweet and unafraid of attention. Miu Miu's Miutine Intense with Blackberry and Bourbon Vanilla is fruitier and a little juicy, like jam on toast eaten at midnight. Mugler's Alien Goddess with Bourbon Vanilla and Jasmine is the most dramatic here, a glowing, creamy floral built for evenings.
Armani Beauty's My Way with Vanilla, Orange Blossom and Tuberose is the friendliest to newcomers, clean and airy but still white floral through and through. Prada's Paradoxe with White Musk and Amber is the modern, softer one, a perfume that looks minimal and smells warm. Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum is the polished choice, brighter and more citrus-tinged, and the easiest to wear to a meeting.
The test I use is simple: spray one on each wrist, go for a walk, and check again at the four hour mark. White florals can turn sharp or soapy as they settle. The ones you keep are the ones that still smell like warm skin when the flowers have quietened. Write the hour and the bottle on a note in your phone, because by the fourth scent your nose will have forgotten the first.

Tonka, cocoa and a late night
When the sun goes down I move to the gourmands, the scents built on tonka bean, cocoa, coffee and vanilla. They smell like the last dessert on the table, and they are best in cooler weather when heat does not push them over into syrup.
Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium with Coffee and White Flowers is the famous one, dark roast over jasmine, and it is a fine match if you love the coffee note in Good Girl's opening. Miu Miu's Miutine with Strawberry and Vanilla is playful and pink, less brooding than the Intense sibling from before. Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu is a deeper-sounding spin on the classic name. Prada's Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry with Blackcurrant adds a tart, berry edge that keeps things from going too sweet.
Burberry's Goddess with Vanilla and Lavender is the calmest of the bunch, a creamy vanilla with a herbal edge that suits people who dislike sugary scents. DedCool's Mocha Magic with Tonka Bean is the most blanket-like, part cocoa, part comfort, and the one I would wear on a plane.
What I would skip: spraying several gourmands on top of one another, and wearing a heavy one to a small, warm room like a dinner for six. Sweet scents fill space faster than you expect, and a sweet cloud in a small room can feel heavy to the people sitting next to you. If you want to layer, keep one heavy and one light, and let the light one go first.

A last word on wearing it
The point of a scent like this is that it feels like a mood you can put on. I keep a bright floral for work, a dark sweet one for evenings, and Good Girl for the days I want both.
Spray after moisturizing, from about a hand's length away, and avoid rubbing your wrists together, which only breaks the notes down faster. Give any new bottle three or four wears before you decide, since a perfume shifts with weather, food and even your sleep. Keep the bottles somewhere cool and dark, not on a sunny windowsill, so the tonka and vanilla stay round rather than turning flat. And if someone tells you that you smell like dessert, take it as a compliment and keep the bottle. If you want to keep browsing, I also put together Sabrina Carpenter Perfume Started With Sweet Tooth and a Chocolate-Bar Bottle and DIME Perfume.
