IGK is the haircare line built by working stylists, named after the first letter of each of their last names. Here are the dry shampoos and texture sprays, the smoothing and mask steps, and the shampoo, conditioner and gloss for color.
IGK Started as Four Stylists and One Salon in Miami Beach

IGK began with four hairstylists: Aaron Grenia, Franck Izquierdo, Chase Kusero and Leo Izquierdo. The name is simply the first letter of each of their last names, and the first salon sat at the Shore Club in Miami Beach. I find that origin useful, because it explains the whole attitude of IGK. It is a line shaped by people who style hair for a living.
The haircare line launched in 2016 and went national in 2019. In early 2019 the team also opened a two-thousand square foot salon in Soho, their first street-level salon in New York.
Grid one is the day-two shelf. The First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo is the one I reach for when the roots have given up. Beach Club Volume Texture Spray and the Beach Club High-Shine Texture Foam are both about shape: the spray is for volume, the foam for shine. NEVER MISS is a root and scalp touch-up spray, handy for a part that shows too much. Body Language is a rice water plumping mist for hair that looks thin.
Spray texture onto dry hair, scrunch, then leave it alone. Fiddling is how texture turns into a mess, and a light hand keeps the roots from feeling coated. Dry shampoo works best sprayed at the roots before bed, brushed out in the morning, so the powder has time to do its job.

Smoothing, prep and masks
The second group is about the blow dry, and this is where IGK's salon roots show most. The names are a running joke, all Good Behavior, Antisocial and so on, but the job is serious: prepare hair before heat, then finish it so it looks smooth.
The Good Behavior 4-in-1 Heat Protection Blow Dry Prep Spray is the first thing on damp hair, before any dryer touches it. The Smoothing Heat Protectant Blowout Balm is the balm option if you prefer that to a spray. I like the Spirulina Protein Anti-Frizz Smoothing Spray as a finishing mist, because it is light enough not to flatten a blowout. The Frizz and Flyaway Lightweight Gel Hair Taming Wand is a bit like a mascara for the flyaways around the hairline and the crown, and it is the easiest thing here to toss in a bag.
Then the masks. The Antisocial Bond-Building Repair Dry Hair Mask goes onto dry hair, so it feels like a treatment with little fuss. The Antisocial Leave-In Dry Hair Mask stays in too, which makes it a good pick when a rinse-out step just will not happen. For both, start with a small amount at the ends and add only if hair still feels rough.
A quick test: if a blowout feels stiff by the afternoon, you used too much, not too little. Comb the prep spray through from roots to ends while the hair is still damp, so every section gets the same amount, and let the masks sit as the label says.

Wash day, gloss and color
Wash day is the quiet part of the routine, and the Pay Day Instant Repair Shampoo and Pay Day Instant Repair Conditioner are a pair built for it. Use them together and think of them as the base that everything else sits on. The MISTRESS Hydrating Leave-In Conditioner Hair Balm is the extra layer after the shower, a soft balm for ends that feel dry and tangled.
The color side of the shelf is where I have the most fun. The Color Depositing Gloss Mask is a tinted mask that adds a wash of shade while it conditions, so it suits anyone whose color looks tired between salon visits. The Hi-Shine Gloss Treatment is the finishing step, the one I would use before a dinner or photos, when hair should catch the light. Comb gloss through so that it goes on evenly.
What I would skip: layering a rich balm, a mask and a gloss all in one wash. Hair goes flat and heavy, and you will blame the products. Pick one extra step for the day, and keep the rest of the shelf for another wash, use a tinted mask on a clean towel and old gloves, and test a small section first if your color is very light.
If your scalp is itchy or sore after using anything, stop and ask a doctor or colorist.

How I would build a routine
If I had to build a routine from all of this, it would be short. Shampoo and conditioner on wash day, a prep spray before heat, and one texture product for day two. Everything else is an occasional extra, and none of it is required every week. Start with the two steps your hair complains about most, live with them for a month, then decide whether the shelf needs more.
Choose by what your hair does at four in the afternoon. If it goes flat, the texture spray or foam helps. If it frizzes, the smoothing spray and the taming wand are the quick fixes. If the color looks dull, reach for the gloss mask.
IGK feels like salon advice in a bottle, so treat it that way: ask what your stylist would do and do that. One step, done well, beats five done in a hurry.
