Oradina Fine Jewelry and Necklaces

Oradina Fine Jewelry and Necklaces

Oradina is a New York fine jewelry brand founded in 2020 by Sam and Rachel Gindi, third-generation gold jewelers who sell direct to customers. The family story starts in 1956 Beirut with a crystal shop called La Bijouterie and moved through Milan to New York in 1975, with the original mission of lasting karat gold jewelry. This edit gathers Park Avenue and Venice link chains, the Faith diamond cross, Regal and Prism huggies, High Society hoops, and rings and bracelets in gold and sterling silver.

Chains, pendants and stacking rings

Oradina was founded in 2020 by Sam and Rachel Gindi, third-generation gold jewelers. Their family story begins in 1956 in Beirut with a crystal shop called La Bijouterie. They left before the Lebanese Civil War, settled in Milan in 1969, and brought their fine gold jewelry business to New York in 1975, working with artisans and small factories in Italy and suppliers in Turkey. The brand is designed and manufactured in the U.S., Italy and Turkey, and it sells direct to cut out the middleman, citing more than 65 years in the business. The first section is built around chains and charms. The Park Avenue herringbone chain and the 18K Venice link necklace are the two I would look at for layering, while the Faith diamond cross pendant necklace and the Evil Eye pendant in turquoise are the personal ones. The Date Me birthstone pendant charm and the My Letter initial pendant charm are made for customizing a chain. For hands, the Bolt ring, the Forever band stack ring, the Skyline ring and the One Bold bangle are the gold pieces, and the Mesh Glamour Power Stack bracelet is the bold one. The sterling silver Byzantine artisan pieces and the Panther necklace and bracelet sit next to them. If you are unsure how to stack, my guide to rings in 14k and 18k gold and sterling silver is helpful, and the sculptural gold jewelry guide shows how to choose a bold link.

Hoops, huggies, studs and drops

The second section is all earrings, plus a few chains and rings that keep the same tone. The High Society hoops, the open hoop earrings in white gold, the Prism huggies and the Petite Have A Ball studs are the daily pieces, and the Shine Bright diamond small stud is the dressy one. The Buttoned Up drop earrings are for evenings, and the sterling silver Everyday hoops, Byzantine artisan hoops, Contour drops and Lady Finger drops give the same shapes in silver. The Roman Rope statement necklace and the Bodega Box chain are the necklaces to wear alone. The West Side Highway ring, the Everything ring and the Crown Jewels emerald diamond ring are the ones to wear one at a time. What I would skip is stacking big hoops with a statement necklace on the same day; choose one place for the eye to land. How I would wear it

I would start with one chain, a pair of hoops and a ring that I would never take off. In our fashion dreams she is crossing Park Avenue in a plain white tee with only the Venice link at her neck. The family has been working in gold for generations, and the pieces are meant for everyday wear. For the vocabulary of gold quality, my guide to gold-filled, vermeil and solid gold is a good place to learn more.
