Power of You Armani arrived in January 2026 as a passion fruit and vanilla gourmand with a ruby bottle. Here it sits next to the rest of the Armani women's shelf, plus fruity, amber and vanilla wood perfumes I would wear beside it.
Power of You Armani and the Fruity Vanilla Perfumes Around It

Power of You is the newest chapter on the Armani women's shelf. It launched in Europe on January 20, 2026, fronted by Kendall Jenner as Emporio Armani's global fragrance ambassador, and it was developed by perfumers Nisrine Bouazzaoui Grillie and Nadege Le Garlantezec. The Armani Beauty page describes a bright passion fruit opening that turns into creamy frangipani and settles into vanilla absolute. So Power of You Armani is a fruity gourmand, and the bottle matches the mood: ruby glass in a pink gold frame, with the Emporio Armani rings on the cap.
The rest of the shelf makes more sense once you smell it as a family. I Will with vanilla is the woody one, with bergamot, violet, lavender and woodleather. My Way pairs orange blossom and tuberose with vanilla, and My Way Nectar swaps in juicy pear with bourbon vanilla. Si is the sweet rose one, opening on blackcurrant nectar and mandarin over warm vanilla. My Way Ylang is the sunniest, with mango, coconut water and ylang in a coral bottle. Acqua di Gioia is the fresh one, built on citrus, jasmine and cedarwood, and the Intense version adds red fruits and rose in a green to turquoise bottle.
A quick test: spray Power of You on one wrist and Acqua di Gioia on the other. Wait ten minutes. The vanilla one will get warmer while the citrus one stays cool.

Fruity and amber perfumes with some bite
Grid 2 is where I go when I want fruit that is not just sugar. MERIT Retrospect is a warm, sheer extrait with bergamot and pear over jasmine, rose and violet, and the brand says it wears for up to over 12 hours. By Rosie Jane MATILDA opens on passion fruit tart with meringue and finger lime, and the brand says it feels like dancing in your underwear. That is the closest cousin here to Power of You. Burberry Her is the dark berry one, with blackcurrant, jasmine and dry amber, and Burberry Her Elixir pushes it toward strawberry and blackberry with vanilla and sandalwood. Ellis Brooklyn SUN FRUIT is fresh fig, jasmine and vanilla, inspired by tan lines and ripe fruit. LoveShackFancy Sweetheart is pink raspberry, pink currant and peach musk in a bottle topped with a glitter bow. Henry Rose Ripe goes watermelon sorbet and lychee rose over sandalwood and musk. BORNTOSTANDOUT Drunk Lovers is the odd one out, with citronella, brandy and amber, described as spilled brandy on a wood table.
Pairing tip: layer a sheer musk under a fruity one, and spray both on pulse points instead of clothes.
What I would skip: stacking two loud fruit perfumes in one outfit. Pick Burberry Her or LoveShackFancy Sweetheart, not both.

Vanilla woods for after dark
Vanilla gets serious in grid 3. The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods wraps Madagascan vanilla and caramel in smoky amber, with a little pear and rose. Prada Paradigme Le Parfum is amber, vanilla and geranium, listed as a men's cologne, and Prada says it is refillable. CYKLAR Sacred Santal is an alcohol free roll-on with vanilla, cashmere wood and bergamot, so it is the one for a bag. LoveShackFancy Just a Girl is French vanilla, sugared apricot and tonka milk, and the brand suggests wearing it with a slip dress. Henry Rose Queens + Monsters calls itself a floral vanilla with neroli, freesia and sandalwood. TOM FORD Vanille Fatale goes darker, with coffee absolute, roasted barley and mahogany. Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixir has purple rhubarb, golden amber woods and vanilla bean extract, and Dolce&Gabbana The One is peach, jasmine, vanilla and amber on white flowers.
How to wear them: two sprays is plenty for evening, one on the neck and one on the inside of the elbow. Roll-on oil can go over any of them to keep the warmth close.
What I would skip: a heavy vanilla wood at a hot, crowded daytime event. Save these for cool nights, and put Power of You on for the day.

Choosing your vanilla
Choosing between all of these comes down to how much sweetness you want near your face. Start with Power of You if you like passion fruit and vanilla together, then move to My Way Nectar for pear or Acqua di Gioia for something airy. If the sugar gets too much, look at I Will or Vanilla Woods, where wood and amber cut through it. Test on skin, not paper, and give each one a full afternoon before deciding. Pick a favorite for daytime, a warmer one for night, and stop there. Two well chosen bottles beat a shelf you never finish.
