Rainbow K

Rainbow K

Kelia Toledano and Kelly Souied, childhood friends from the same street in Paris's 16th Arrondissement, founded Rainbow K in Paris in 2019 after both first built careers in finance and economics. Souied trained as a gemologist in Ramat Gan to study at the Israel Diamond Exchange, and pairs that technical eye with Toledano's Art Deco-leaning taste for antique jewelry, landing the brand somewhere between vintage revival and something more irreverent.

Jewelry

The founders describe the French fine jewelry market they grew up around as almost entirely classic, which is precisely what Rainbow K was built to push against. Diamonds and colored stones, including sapphire, emerald and onyx, get set into shapes borrowed from Art Deco without being period pieces.

More Jewelry

Souied's gemological training keeps the stone-setting technically serious even as Toledano's design instincts push toward bolder, less classical silhouettes. That split between the two founders, one trained in diamonds, one trained in taste, is basically the whole business model.

Our honest take

Two childhood friends splitting a jewelry brand into a technical half and a design half is a clean story, and it happens to be the true one here. The Art Deco framing can tip toward pastiche in weaker pieces, but the diamond work is genuinely credentialed, not just borrowed vocabulary.
