Tailoring spent a decade being sold as armour, cut close and worn to be taken seriously. The current version has let go of that entirely, trading precision for ease without losing the structure underneath. It is the clearest sign that the return-to-office argument has been settled on the wearer's terms.

Footwear is where tailoring gets undermined on purpose. A flat under a serious jacket is the single most common styling move in this category right now.
Jewelry
Jewelry is doing what a tie used to do. One deliberate piece against a plain neckline is the entire finish.
Bags
The bag has to be able to hold a laptop and still look like a choice. That is a harder brief than it sounds and most of the market fails it.

Our honest take: tailoring got interesting again the moment it stopped trying to prove anything. A softer jacket over an easier trouser reads more confident than a sharp suit ever did, which is a fairly damning verdict on the previous decade.
