Unsaid Fine Jewelry

Unsaid began as founder Shraddha Mehta's blog in Antwerp collecting stories of love and friendship, then moved into jewelry in 2019 with a Mumbai atelier whose diamond heritage goes back more than a century. The house now works between Paris and Mumbai, making lab grown diamond pieces in recycled 18k gold, and in 2022 unveiled the Reminiscence Ring at the Ritz Paris, which it calls the world's largest lab grown diamond ring. This edit gathers its sculptural rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, from the Armor and Bubble lines to Phoenix and Meta.

Sculptural diamond rings

Unsaid treats a diamond the way a sculptor treats stone. Its craft page describes scientists, master stone cutters and artisans working together in Paris and Mumbai, and the rings in this grid are the result. The Bubble rings set round stones in soft domes of gold, Phoenix Burst fans stones out like feathers, Meta plays with radiant cuts and toi et moi pairs, and Armor wraps the finger in tiny cubes. Because they are lab grown, you get a lot of sparkle for the gold. My tip is to try a ring at arm's length before you decide; these are designed to be seen across a table.

Earrings

From small Bubble and Flame studs to Phoenix wing studs, Armor drops and Whirlwind gold hoops, the earrings make a smaller statement with the same shapes. A single sculptural stud is the easiest way into the house if you are not ready for a big ring. What I would skip is pairing two different collections in one ear; the lines read best on their own.

Necklaces and bracelets

Phoenix wing pendants, Armor cube necklaces, a Bubble pendant and the heavy Meta necklace sit beside Armor bracelets. The wing pendants are my pick for everyday because they lie flat and catch light at every angle.

How I would wear it

Start with one ring or one pair of studs from a single line and wear it daily. Unsaid says it uses renewable energy, recycled 18k gold and lab grown stones, so it is a good house for anyone who wants big diamond jewelry with a lighter footprint.
