Halston Gowns and Coats
Halston was founded by designer Roy Halston Frowick, who began as a milliner, became famous for the pillbox hat Jacqueline Kennedy wore at the 1961 inauguration, and opened his Madison Avenue boutique in 1968. His signature was minimalist, fluid, draped clothing in jersey, cashmere and Ultrasuede, from caftans and shirtwaist dresses to bias-cut evening gowns. This edit gathers halter and jersey gowns, sequin midis, shirt dresses, faux fur coats and puffers, plus trousers, knits and a bucket bag.
