Yi Collection Jewelry and Rings

Yi Guo founded Yi Collection in 2015 after three years as Style Editor at Vogue China, trained as a fashion stylist in New York and born in Shanghai. Her first stockist was 10 Corso Como in Shanghai, followed by Moda Operandi, and every piece is still made by her artisans in a Bangkok atelier. This edit gathers the stackable rings, earrings and bracelets that put colored gemstones first.

Collage of rings, earrings and layered necklaces worn up close, in the spirit of Yi Collection

Rings

Yi Guo says her first piece was a double gemstone chain ring that friends bought straight off her fingers, and rings are still the heart of the line. Topaz, tourmaline, spinel and rhodolite in 18K yellow gold show how she mixes colors the way a stylist would.

Earrings

Tourmaline, tanzanite, aquamarine and diamond earrings carry the same candy-bright instinct. They are a good lesson in how color can work in fine jewelry without feeling heavy.

Bracelets

Tennis bracelets and compass bangles in sapphire, chrysoberyl and tourmaline add a little structure to the colorful palette. She has described her signature as modern and graphic with gemstones as the focus.

A few more

A tsavorite ring, an emerald and diamond ring and necklaces in aquamarine and tourmaline close out the selection. The range works the same way, with the stone setting the mood.

Made in Bangkok

Everything is produced in-house in Bangkok, which Guo calls the capital of colored gemstones. Having her own atelier is how a former stylist stays in charge of the edit.
