Bag Edit

This bag edit moves between generous, everyday totes and small-scale evening clutches. Pieces from Loewe, Coach, Tory Burch and Chloe lean toward woven and suede totes built for daily use, while Carolina Herrera, Alaia and Saint Laurent supply the going-out counterpart. The range is less about one shape than about the return of texture, whether raffia braid, jacquard or hand-finished leather.

Totes Built For Daily Use

The everyday tote has moved away from stiff structure toward something softer and more textural. Loewe's woven palm leaf crossbody carries that shift furthest, trading smooth leather for a braided, basket-like surface that reads as handmade. Tory Burch's Lee Radziwill shoulder bag keeps a similar tactile quality in suede, oversized enough to function as a work bag rather than an accessory. Coach and Chloe round out the group with a magenta canvas tote and a roomier canvas silhouette, both built around ease rather than polish. None of these bags try to look precious, and that is the point.

Evening Bags Get Textural Too

The clutch is having its own version of that same textural moment. Carolina Herrera's Pats clutch uses a jacquard animal print instead of the usual smooth satin or metal, giving an evening bag some visual weight. Saint Laurent's Martele clutch takes the opposite approach, all hammered metal and cold shine. Between those two poles sit silk satin shapes and mini woven totes small enough to double as clutches, each pulling the same handmade texture into after-dark dressing. The range proves an evening bag no longer has to choose between decoration and restraint.

Our honest take

This edit works because it treats totes and clutches as two answers to the same question about texture. The woven palm leaf crossbody and the Lee Radziwill suede shoulder bag both argue that an everyday bag can carry visible craft without losing its usefulness. On the evening side, the Pats clutch and the Martele clutch show how differently a small bag can telegraph occasion, one through print and the other through metal. I would pick the Lee Radziwill bag for daily rotation and keep the Martele clutch on hand for nights that need less explaining. If you take one thing away, it is that texture, not size or shape, is doing the most work across this range right now.
