Caribbean Getaway: PQ Swim & Straw Hats
Caribbean Getaway: PQ Swim

Building a Caribbean Capsule Around PQ Swim
A real warm-weather getaway wardrobe starts with one good swimsuit, not five mediocre ones. PQ Swim is built for exactly that: structured one-pieces with real coverage and support, tie-front tunics that work over the suit or alone at dinner, and prints that read resort without tipping into costume. Everything below comes straight from PQ Swim's current lineup, priced from $68 to $180.
The fabrication is worth noting. PQ uses a heavier, more compressive knit than most swim labels at this price, which means the cross-front and asymmetric one-pieces hold their shape through a week of pool days and salt water rather than going slack by day three. The tie tunics double as coverage for a boat day or a walk to lunch, which is the kind of piece that earns its suitcase space twice over.
Pair the suits with the hats below and the capsule is essentially done: swim, cover-up, and the one accessory that actually changes how a beach look photographs.

Our honest take
PQ Swim is the right call for anyone who actually swims on a trip rather than posing at the edge of the pool. The support and the fabric weight are the whole argument, and they show up most in the one-piece styles rather than the tunics. The tunics are lovely but they are cover-ups first, and outfit piece second.
