Jenni Lee started Comme Si in New York in 2019 after leaving her marketing job at the shaving startup Harry's, unable to find a sock she considered both beautiful and responsibly made. The label is built on that one overlooked category: Italian-milled cotton, merino, cashmere and silk socks finished with a loop tab that regular wearers learned to spot on each other, a foundation the brand has since built out into all of the categories

Comme Si didn't start with trousers, it started with hosiery, but the same logic carries over into everything the label has added since. The trousers and shorts here read as an extension of that sock-drawer discipline, cut clean and left to do their job without shouting about it, proof that a brand built on a small category can still dress a whole body.

Lee came from marketing, not a design atelier, which maybe explains why the shirting favors clarity over flourish. These pieces sit close to the label's original promise, that fabric should feel as good as it looks, worn as often as a favorite sock and with as little fuss.

Comme Si's move from socks into loungewear, boxers and modular furniture has been a slow build over several years, not a sudden pivot, and this last stretch of the edit shows how far that expansion has traveled. It is still, underneath the newer categories, a brand about getting the unglamorous basics right.
Our honest take
A sock brand that grew into a full wardrobe is a genuinely unusual arc, and Comme Si has mostly earned it by staying obsessive about materials rather than chasing trend cycles. Where the edit is strongest is exactly where the brand started, the small, quiet pieces, and that consistency says more about the label than any of its newer categories do.
